Mirage Group will allow visitors to the seventh edition of COPIS from 2 to 4 October to get acquainted with the capabilities of the SummaCut D160 cutter. It features the technology for reading registration marks for contour cutting of standard materials, but also for reflective, holographic or mirror-like materials and for many different types of laminates used today.
The machine is equipped with a large control panel for fast and easy access. It can be used to adjust the speed, pressure, and outline mode for performing test cut-outs. The high-speed cutting head performs the specified operations with maximum precision; this way film is cut reliably and easily. The built-in media rollers and roller flanges feed the film straight in and keep the media in the correct position even when cutting at the maximum speed. The cutter is also equipped with a textile basket, which prevents the collection of dust and debris on the media.
Specializing in cutting film, the SummaCut D160 is applicable for the finishing works at the company. It can be used to cut different types of materials at high speed with excellent precision.
Benefits:
With such pinch roller positions that allow handling the most common sizes, and with an extended cutting mode, the SummaCut series is optimized for the most common material dimensions. Since the media advances at high speed, the source product is collected in a textile basket. This prevents the collection of dust and debris and eliminates the risk of the media coming into contact with contaminated floors that can contaminate the working surfaces and cause particle retention between the vinyl and the substrate.
