Being representatives of Canon - another world brand in the Mirage portfolio - our booth in Hall 2 is the venue where we can present this year’s sensation: Oce Colorado 1640 - a major highlight by Canon at FESPA 2017.
The first Roll-to-Roll product, based on Canon Uvgel technology, having its European premiere at FESPA 2017, features 164 cm operating width.

"
Unique in its kind, the Uvgel technology demonstrates the manufacturing speed of an industrial machine without compromising quality. Here are several factors that contribute to this:
- The printer works with two media rolls (in a drawer), which can be two different types;
- Ultra-thin layer of ink that creates a barely visible relief and sticks to the surface of the media immediately. This leads to low ink consumption and reduces printing costs by up to 40%;
- It has a unique LED UV drying subsystem that works totally independent of the print system (two carriages working in parallel) and provides the same time from application to the drying of each drop to achieve unprecedented homogeneity of the printed image. This makes it the fastest printer in this segment - 159 sq m / hour for billboards and outdoor advertising.
